Filter by Condition

I have a Google Sheet set up with a column in date format that I wish to filter to only show entries with todays date.

Previously I had this working successfully by adding a Filter by Condition that was set to - Date is after - Yesterday.

In recent days this has stopped functioning correctly. Now when I click okay to update the filtering I get a partial filtering that leaves in the data for the last 3-7 days and hides older entries. 

I have checked that the data is all in the same date format but cannot seem to restore the earlier function.

Any ideas what is going on and how I can set it right please?

FIgured it out! I needed to remove alternating colours in my table in order to extend the table range and then it would filter correctly.
