Delete cells and shift up in table

Does anyone know how to delete specific cells and shift up when the cells are part of a table? Obviously, the normal process (select the cells you want to delete - right click - select delete cells and shift up) doesn't seem to work.

I should be more specific. I don't want to delete an entire row of the table, just a few cells within a row.

Hey MH,

Unfortunately, this functionality is not currently supported in "Tables".

But you CAN cut the cells, move them where you want and then delete the extra rows.
