How to fix corrupted custom number format

I have been using Google Sheets for years and over time my custom number formatting has become corrupted. As you can see from the attached screenshot, I have tried to create a custom currency format with 4 decimal points.

As you also can see, this has failed and in the process my ability to create custom formatting has been corrupted.

Is there a mechanism for clearing these corrupted formats and getting what I am looking for?

Any help would be appreciated.

I hope that in the future Google provides a mechanism for me to remove the corrupted formats.

I hope so too. I'll try to send them a message about the error. You can also do this from the help menu in the Sheet.
