Hi Folks -- I know you've all taken one of our classes, but I thought you might be interested (or willing to pass along to any interested colleagues) some information about our next upcoming class on Web Credibility.
I'll be teaching class on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at RAFT in San Jose. (See their web page for directions on how to get there. Raft.net And the link to sign-up for the class. )
This class will cover what makes something credible (or not) on the web, and give you (and your students) some tools to help evaluate the pages you fine.
We'll also cover a bunch of spoof sites so you can practice your incredibility detection skills, and give a few practical lesson plans that you can take and use.
RAFT classes are normally open only to its members, but you can buy a 1-day pass for $15. (To get the information on getting a 1-day pass, please contactdeborah@raft.net )
Hope to see some of you there!
