Hi,

Our Google Mini will not let us get to Web GUI for administration. It
boots up and I only noticed one thing which said "minswap [FAILED]
". I can ping it but I can not get to web GUI through IP or through
direct connect to port 2 although it does give me an IP through direct
connection.

I don't know how to log into console directly as it only shows:
Google Mini
VERSION: 4_6_4_Gent1 login:

Help please ??

You will need to contact Google Enterprise Support and provide them
with remote access. They have a documentation page about this:
http://code.google.com/apis/searchappliance/documentation/remote_access/remote_access.html

Most likely there has been a broken configuration file.

Cheers

This looks pretty bad, you should contact support if the Mini is still
under support. Otherwise, I can only think of updating it to 5.0.4.G.
22 + VM Patch #1 provided Version Manager is working fine and
reachable on port 9941. Good luck!

Hi, I will try support however there does not seem to be a support
phone number to call and I am not sure how they can fix it remotely
without the web gui and SSH not enabled...I think it has to be done
directly on the console?? Just a guess though. I will try the online
support thing.

Hi,

Even when the admin console is not avaliable, there´s a way of
enabling SSH:
http://code.google.com/intl/es-ES/apis/searchappliance/documentation/remote_access/remote_access.html#faq

Q: How do you enable SSH if the Admin Console is unavailable?
http://192.168.255.1:1111/enablesshd
and some other steps...

HTH,
