Do you mean that you can't access to gsa console with SSH?
If so, you can't do that.
Google support only can access to it.

I'm fairly certain that each GSA has its own unique password which
Google Enterprise Support keeps in a private database. I'm a Google
configuration specialist working for an official reseller partner and
even I don't get those passwords.

Just remember - it's an appliance, not a server.

So, that means customers can't get the original crawled data from GSA
directly, I am sorry to hear that, we can only fetch the results via
APIs, otherelse, we couldn't backup the crawled data.

Correct. The format and structure of the crawled data, indices, and so
on is (likely) a trade secret and proprietary.

Keep in mind: The GSA/Mini is not intended to be used as a backup
server nor a relational database. It's prime directive (as it were) is
to provide the most relevant search results in record time. Contrast
with returning all possible results (as in the case of a database
query) and backing up a DB.

Meanwhile, it is possible to backup the _configuration_ which, when
reinstated, will repopulate the original collection. Thus, you can
backup the conditions for crawling and serving ... and even replicate
them quickly across appliances.
