Hi,

Lets say my crawled data has following result

acceptation ...
accessory-nerve
accessory-pigment ...
accommodation-train
accouple ...
accommodational
accourage ...
accus.
accusably ...

Now if I insert "acc" in search text box and press enter i should get
all above results. However it is not happening. I have give complete
word and due to which i am getting only one word in result :(

Regards,
Jayesh

The GSA doesn't do partial word matches. It does stemming eg 'swim' will match 'swimming'.

First, you might try searching the archive of this list, since this
topic has come up quite a bit recently.

Second, the appliance doesn't work that way. It doesn't do substring
matching. It only looks for complete words, and word stems (for
example: think, thinker, thinking).

You could build your own synonym lists to deal with this, but I don't
know if that would be a practical approach. You could also use query
suggest, which would suggest full queries based on what the user has
entered so far, but that's not the same as showing results.
