First, you might try searching the archive of this list, since this
topic has come up quite a bit recently.
Second, the appliance doesn't work that way. It doesn't do substring
matching. It only looks for complete words, and word stems (for
example: think, thinker, thinking).
You could build your own synonym lists to deal with this, but I don't
know if that would be a practical approach. You could also use query
suggest, which would suggest full queries based on what the user has
entered so far, but that's not the same as showing results.
