I have been using Zend framework to directly write data. This is still an ongoing process as it is taking quite a while to unravel all of the things accomplished via secure-data-connector. The performance is not quite as good but it is far more stable than what I was doing with sdc.

Has anyone found a replacement yet? Is there a need for such a service
(with better stability / SLA, monitoring, and audit trails) -- or has
everyone implemented OAuth and turned their legacy applications into web
