With the closing date only a couple of weeks away, don’t leave submitting until the very last minute. The deadline is May 12th at 11:59 pm (23:59) Pacific Standard Time (PST).

Make sure that you know when the deadline is in your time zone. For example:

  • If you’re in San Francisco, Monday May 12th at 11:59 pm (23:59)
  • If you’re in New York, Tuesday May 13th at 2:59 am (02:59)
  • If you’re in Buenos Aires, Tuesday May 13th at 3:59 am (03:59)
  • If you’re in London, Tuesday May 13th at 7:59 am (07:59)
  • If you’re in Paris, Tuesday May 13th at 8:59 am (08:59)
  • If you’re in Cape Town, Tuesday May 13th at 8:59 am (08:59)
  • If you’re in Moscow, Tuesday May 13th at 10:59 am (10:59)
  • If you’re in Delhi, Tuesday May 13th at 12:29 pm (12:29)
  • If you’re in Sydney, Tuesday May 13th at 4:59 pm (16:59)
  • If you’re in Melbourne, Tuesday May 13th at 4:59 pm (16:59)

The google science fair website says the deadline is May 13th at 02:59 AMT (not PST).
PST makes more sense as the deadline time zone, but again the website does not state PST.
If AMT is correct and this is the more popular Armenia Time (as opposed to Amazon Time),then this is 9 hours ahead of New York (EST). In this case the the EST deadline would be 5:59 pm May 12th (not may 13th at all).

I would greatly appreciate any clarification on this matter.

Hi, I was just wondering

I submitted my project in time, yet I have the message "not submitted in time". Just wondering why this is so.

My project title is "A Novel DNA Electrochemical Biosensor for the Detection of Heavy Metal Pollution in Aquatic Ecosystems"
