Safe Browsing Lookup API not working for me.

to Google Safe Browsing API

I signed up for an API key for the Safe Browsing Lookup API. After
signup the page includes some sample URLs. Curling them or entering in
a browser results in a message like: "We're sorry..... but your
computer or network may be sending automated queries. To protect our
users, we can't process your request right now."

What am I doing wrong?

The examples on that page are now incorrect. Use this as an example url instead (obviously with your API key):https://sb-ssl.google.com/safebrowsing/api/lookup?client=demo-app&apikey=12345&appver=1.5.2&pver=3.0&url=http%3A%2F%2Fianfette.org%2F
