Need 12 testers for zweitaps (calorie diary, German) – I test back for 14 days

Hi all,

zweitaps is a calorie diary for German-speaking users: log what you have eaten before in two taps, new food via search, barcode or a photo of the plate (an estimate you correct). No account, no reminders, entries stay on the phone. The UI is German only, so this is mainly a "keep it installed and open it now and then" test. Android phones only.

To join

→ join the group with the Google account you use on Play: https://groups.google.com/g/zweitaps-tester

→ then accept the test: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.zweitaps.app

→ keep the app installed for 14 days and open it a few times

I test back: reply with your group and opt-in links, I join the same day and keep your app for the full 14 days with regular opens.

My Android app Malaysia Calendar & Cuti Planner is currently in closed testing, and I need at least 12 testers for 14 days 🙏

The app helps users view Malaysian public holidays, manage annual leave, and find the best long-weekend leave plans.

1️⃣ First, join the tester group:

2️⃣ Then open the testing invitation and tap “Become a tester”:

Pleasea few things:
• Please use the same Google account to join the group, accept the test, and access Google Play.
• Please remain opted in the testing program continuously for at least days.
• Open and the app several times and test the the calendar, holiday, leave-planning, and settings features.
• You don’t need to purchase the Pro upgrade.
• Please don’t opt out or leave the group during the 14 days.

Hi Cyeng,

thanks for trying it. I checked the console: the closed test is targeted at all countries, Malaysia included, so nothing was blocked on my side.

"App not available" right after joining usually means Google has not synced the tester list yet, or the link was opened with a different Google account than the one that joined the group. Could you open https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.zweitaps.app again with the same account you used to join zweitaps-tester.

I joined your group and opted in to your test today, and I will keep the app installed for the full 14 days.

Hi all, and thanks Cyeng for flagging it.

There are three different links and they only work in this order, with the same Google account that is signed in to the Play Store app on your phone:

1) Join the group: https://groups.google.com/g/zweitaps-tester

2) Accept the test: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.zweitaps.app and tap Become a tester

3) Only then the download page works: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.zweitaps.app

Before step 2 that last link shows a plain not found page, which is what App not available looks like. I checked the console: the closed test targets all countries including Malaysia, the group is attached, and the release is live. It already works for other testers, one confirmed the install today.

If it still fails after step 2, reply with the Google account you used and I will check it against the group.

Also Cyeng and Edwin, your apps are installed on my phone and stay for the full 14 days.
