Hi there,

Thanks for the bug report.

Can you file a new issue at https://code.google.com/p/google-maps-utility-library-v3/issues/entry stating simply that markers don't show on iOS devices?  It should be fairly straightforward to add a check and avoid trying to load the rest of the library on these devices.

Cheers,

Let's hope someone can shed light on it here.

The topic in question is this: Why is there no integration of Google Earth Plugin in the Maps API V3
Has this been overlooked or is it a deliberate decision?

Yes, one can embed the Google Earth Plugin in a webpage, but there is *no* button to switch to google earth seamlessly when using Google Maps V3.
Google has been encouraging (insisting?) that developers use V3 of the Maps API from now on, but this missing feature is a glaring anomaly.

But this shows No markers in the iphone or ipad web browsers (I know that google earth plugin will not work on iphone/ipad, i'm referring to the fact that the above example will not display markers in the normal map as well)

Can someone from Google please shed light on the subject?

Thanks.
