Hi,
What about the other mobile device platforms like Symbian, Java ME and
Blackberry ? Are you going release for those also ? Or, how can we use
full featured google maps in those devices ? Please suggest / clarify.

Best regards,

Hi Nazmul-

If the browser on those devices doesn't support Javascript, then we
will not ever support it.
If it does support Javascript to a decent degree and it has a fair
market share, then it is possible.

Please file feature requests for specific browsers in the issue
tracker, like this one:

Hi Pamela,
Thank you for the reply. I know about the JS API. But, Mobile devices
can load static maps from google. I just want know how rich is it. Can
we download a business location like shopping, food etc near a
location from google map? Again, im talking about mobile phones, that
not support JS.

best regards,
Nazmul

Hi Nazmul-

The Static Maps API documentation is here:
http://code.google.com/apis/maps/documentation/staticmaps/

You can use the local search for that. See:
