Unwanted white lines in IE 9

I am having a problem with the Google map API from v3.7. I have created a map and on IE9 white horizontal lines appear, these lines do not appear in any other browser/OS combo. It appeared when there were 2 neighboring rectangles, IE9 displayed 1px space between them.
