Custom map style always defaults to ROADMAP instead of HYBRID

Hi,

I have created a custom map style for the HYBRID map type.  I want to simple turn off all roads.  However the map type always changed to ROADMAP even though I am trying to set the hybrid type. 

Probably something easy but it's eluding me.

So why don't you just use the Satellite map type?

Hi Grok,

I am working on a flight travel application.  In my map I want to display municipalities but not roads and that is why I want to use the HYBRID type.  I do allow the user to choose any map type including SATELLITE.
