Hi all,

by testing this sample :
http://gmaps-samples-v3.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/draggable-markers/draggable-markers.html

I discovered that sometimes the marker is never dropped and stay "in the air". It is not very easy to reproduce the case.

I use Firefox 4.0.1

Have you heard about this problem already (I didn't find it in this forum...).
Do you know a work around that can make the reverse geocoding working without this rare bug ?

Thanks
Luc

This screenshot isn't very interestant but show the marker in the air without the mouse hand-cursor on it... The drag has frozen

Hi Bezo,
I spotted out this issue a while ago and so far haven't found any solution. I am on FF 4 (Mac) too. My guess it could be something related to the following error:

Image corrupt or truncated: http://mt0.googleapis.com/vt?lyrs=m@158&src=apiv3&hl=en-US&x=508&y=341&z=10&apistyle=s.t%3A33%7Cs.e%3Al%7Cp.v%3Aoff&s=G

which usually occurs in the FireBug when zooming in quickly.
I also noticed that this problem may happen only on the first event of dropping the marker, switching browser tabs can sometimes help dropping the hanging marker.

I am having the exact same problem in Firefox 6 and 6.1 but Chrome 13
works fine.

It appears that this bug has existed when using Firefox ever since v4
already?

My site cant go live due to this.
