a is null - line 164 out of range

hi,

i have a strange problem with the google maps.

when i display a blank map i have no error.

but when displaying polyline + marker, i get the following js error message on IE:

Message: Unable to get value of the property 'value': object is null or undefined

Line: 10

Char: 292

Code: 0

URI: http://maps.gstatic.com/cat_js/intl/en_ALL/mapfiles/api-3/7/9/%7Bmain,geometry,places%7D.js

but in firefox i get a message: 

a is null (164 out of range 45)

what is this errors means?

how can i fix this?

There's an error, possibly in the coordinates in the line, or those of
the marker. Without a link to **your** page, it's not possible to say
what the issue is.
