Markers under my custom infobox still get mouseover

I have a custom infobox extended from OverlayView and this overlay infobox is added on the floatPane.  I do have markers and I set the ZIndex to a higher number calculated based on the coordinates.    when click on marker I show the my custom infobox.  when mouse over the infobox, any markers under the infobox (hidden under) are still receiving mouse over.  how to stop that?
