Can polygon or polyline rotate?

Hello, everybody.

As the title mentioned, can I rotate the polygon or polyline overlay?

Such as first select an overlay, then click a button(programming) on the page 

so that the overlay rotate for some degree.

As polygons and polylines are moveable and draggable as seen here

your intention should be feesable. The main task would be the math to
calculate the new points.
