Checkbox in IE 9

Hi,

I am very new to the Google Maps API, and I am doing a simple map for biking.  I have my website working fine in Chrome but I'm having issues with IE and some with FF. In IE when I check all of my checkboxes on my map everything loads ok, my issue is if you just refresh the website the layers go off which is fine but the boxes still stay checked.  In FF when I check all the layers they all uncheck after refresh except for three (Level of Service, Racks, and Blue), and one layer will not be checkable again (Signed).

I know I am missing something somewhere in the code I just can not figure out where.  Can someone steer me in the right direction. Thanks - Kim

You have two BODY-tags and you have some P-tags inside a table.

Thanks Esa I will fix those html errors and see if that changes things
