On the current (3.4) version of the API, using the default drag and drop "street man" to open a street view, the images are not loading on IE. It seems to have started failing yesterday, but it certainly failing right now. It works fine in Firefox.

http://code.google.com/apis/maps/documentation/javascript/examples/streetview-map.html works for me in IE7, IE8 and IE9. Can you provide some more detail to reproduce the issue?

Thanks
Ben

I am specifically talking about the Panoramic view that you get when you drag the little "Man" icon and drop it on the maps. The Panoramic view comes up and the 3d "road line" is present, but there is no imagery. This is only the case on IE (I'm using 7 though I asked a friend to check 8 and he claims there is no imagery on 8 either). Firefox works fine.

That's what I get on the streetview example you posted with IE7. The
images are grayed out, but the addresses appear, and the control move
around in streetview appear, which means it is recognizing the roads
and stuff, just no images. I discovered this yesterday as well, and
changed my maps from the latest version 3.4 to version 3.3, and it
works there.

Streetview still works in 3.4 with Firefox, just not IE7, don't know
if other versions of IE have the same problem.

Not that I have more details, but I am having the same issue. When I
go to the google sample provided above(http://code.google.com/apis/
maps/documentation/javascript/examples/streetview-map.html) it does
the same thing. The control comes up fine, with the zoom in/out,
direction compass, street lines and names, and the move forward/back/
left/right arrows, but no imagery. Tried it in both IE7 and IE8 and it
doesn't work. FF 3.612 does, though.

Testing a bit more, it looks like it has to do with the new 3.4
version. Requesting version 3.3 of the api (in my app and the google
provided sample) makes it work, again.

Hi Ben,

I'm getting this problem as well. It's only in IE7, it's the loaded
images which seem to be the issue.

http://toddm.me/test/test.html

It also bizarrely prompts you to install google chrome frame!? Has
google decided to drop support for ie7?

It's only on IE7, and it prompts to install chrome frame which is
strange.
