Hi,

My gmap, used to use an old icon, but today even though i have replaced the image, the map shows the old marker at places. Y is it so?

Maybe it's not your application but your own personal browser who does the caching. Can someone else see the new icon (I can't see any map on your url (without registering?)). Try to clear your browser cache and try again. Also try to open the direct url of the image and see what is shown there.

Uhm I overlooked the login details. Now I see the map. I have attached how the marker is shown in my browser. Is it the new or old icon?

I tried the map in 3 different browser on my laptop... and asked 2 friends... all see the same issue.... Also... the source of the map only shows one image /images/activity.png

the one u posted in the new marker... here is what i and frnds see... But yes all frnds have seen the old marker once... that is y i tried using different bowsers. And even if the marker is cached, it does not make sense to show both the markers... its got to be new or old... not both, right?

KML is cached at google's servers. It is possible that the kml that
is being rendered still contains the old icon definition.

oh and also... even if the kml is cached, it wont have the image cached... and image path is the same, but i changed the image... so kml cached shud not matter...

No KML that I can see.

I see a blue lollipop from http://www.cobboc.com/images/activity.png.
What are you expecting?

exactly my point... there is no kml... the marker should be http://www.cobboc.com/images/activity.png and as i showed in the screenshot... i see that marker and the one i had previously... different browser, a different user's computer, but no change. i still see 2 markers for one url...

I suspect the jaggy looking marker you are looking at is just two
markers piled on top of each other - you do realise you have identical
lat/longs involved?
