How to fit map to screen with header and footer

How to manage CSS to fit google map API v3 to fit the screen WITHOUT
VERTICAL SCROLL BAR?
If I add header and footer, the map become too big and scroll bar
appears on the right side of the page.

Hey, this simply will not work when the firefox window is resized -
scroll bar will appear when the firefox window is reduced in height :(

That will depend on what you put in the remaining "10%". But this is
all general html/css; nothing to do with the google maps javascript
API per se, perhaps you should look in groups dedicated to that and
search the web for solutions.
