Getting a list of cities

I only want to show a list of cities with their State.  I do not want addresses to be available to the user.  Is this possible?

Sure it is possible to show the list. Do you have the data to do
that? Showing a list and not having that data available to the user
is not possible (if they can see it the data is available to them).

That functionality is not part of the Google Maps Javascript API v3
(the topic of this group).

I want a list of US states.  I have the autocomplete set up and working properly on my text box but it is displaying street names or business names in some cases along with cities.  I only want results in the format of "city, state".  Is there a way to filter out the results that I don't want?
