Confusion with place.types

I am having some problems with extracting correct business types from google places.

For instanse, if I code a places request to get Club Peace and Plenty in Exuma, Bahamas, place.details returns lodging, establishment which makes sense since this is a hotel.  However, if I look at the data for this place using mapmaker, no lodging is specified.

The problem happens in reverse with Exuma Vacation Cottages; in mapmaker, a category of "Resort" is listed; but when place.details is called, only establishment is listed.


Is there something that I am missing?
