Pegman drag event

When we drag pegman over Google Map API V3, it changes position to new
to associate panorama.

Also when we navigate on panorama itself using link or arrow button,
it changes position to new.

Both above scenario fires position_changed events.

How to differentiate between above two scenario in position_changed
events?

Is there any alternate way to find out which scenario has fire the
position_changed event?
