distance between two points without map/driving directions

i have a requirement to provide driving distance and time from points A to B but don't need driving directions or the map immediately displayed but will post a link to the map if the user wants to see driving directions and map. 

Does this violate the Terms of Service?

Yes. Paragraph 10.1.1(g). With directions you can show either the
route map, or the directions list, or both, but not neither.
