KML of Picasa does not show all photos

Hello,

I have a problem with showing all photo's of a kml file generated by Picasa. It does not show all photos on the map.

I edited the file and exchange one subdomain to another and then different set of photos are shown.

I hope somebody can help me or can explain why this problem is happening.

Where did you get the URL for the photos from? It is conceivable that
all the files are not on the same server, some are on lh5, some are on
lh6, and you need to use the complete URL.

Hello Larry,

The kml is generated by Picasa so also the URLfor the photo's. Picasa spread the load of the picture over multiple subdomains.

What do you mean with the complete URL? The URL for the photes is the absolute or complete URL.

It sounded like you were modifying the KML or generating it yourself.
If it is coming straight from Picasa, then that functionality is
broken or different google servers do it differently (which seems
strange, I would think that all the photos would be available in all
the subdomains).

Hello Larry,

The first is not modified only save instead of generating it everytime realtime and the second I modified to switch the subdomains in the file so I would see other photo's.

It looks like lh5 subdomain is not responding only lh6 (and others like lh3, lh4 etc).

I looks like a google maps api problem, because if I use a client side renderer for kml then all photos show.
