Lat/lon Graticule - Help?

Folks, I've been fighting V3's graticule function by Bill Chadwick
sans success (the V2 version worked out of the box for me.).

The V3 port at http://www.bdcc.co.uk/Gmaps/LatLonGraticule.js clearly
has a V2 construct in a GOverlay reference.

I'll appreciate someone pointing me to some online instance of a V3
incarnation. -- AS
