How to make a pinnable interactive map?

Hi.

Sorry for the very basic and probably stupid question, but I am new to the Google Maps JavaScript API V3 and I need to learn that.
So, I need to make a map like this one here: http://www.pininthemap.com/
Meaning that the visitors will be able to put a pin on the map and after that take it off (if they feel like it).
Please help.
