Am I correct in the assumption that the correct way to manage sets of markers or infowindows is by using the MVCArray object ?
It seems like that Overlays, Maps, Markers, InfoWindows and MVCArrays are all MVC objects ?

MVCArray allows you to observe changes to the array, which is useful if the array is shared between different pieces of code where one may change the array and the other needs to respond to the change.  For example, Polylines expose an MVCArray of LatLngs so that your code can insert/remove/update LatLngs and our code can update the Polyline.

For managing your own sets of markers or infowindows I suggest using plain old JavaScript Array or Object.

Cheers
Ben
