Has the Google Maps Image API been deprecated?

Hi, can anyone tell me if there has been a significant change to the Google Maps Image APIs in the past month or so?

I had a working site that would bring up a streetview using a simple URL like this...

http://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/streetview?size=200x200&format=png&sensor=false&location=-41.2772702,173.28217210000003

but now all I get is a "Sorry we have no imagery here"... yet on the standard maps I can see a streetview image...

This API hasnt been deprecated has it?

There hasn't. It's likely that the Street View data for your area has changed - it appears that location doesn't have street view very close nearby.

Here's one about 50m away:

Hi Chris,

This seems to be a problem all over New Zealand at the moment.  I set up a similar test for a main road in Auckland...

http://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/streetview?size=200x200&sensor=false&location=-36.8982297,174.9120299

Once again, no imagery found under the streetview API, but can be found perfectly using StreetView in Google Maps itself:
