Google Maps SDK for iOS API Key

Hi there...
I've just signed up for an API key for the Google Maps SDK for iOS. Super excited about doing a port of our Android app and very happy that there is now a proper SDK.
We've noticed that the keys are either not available yet or in limited supply. Does anyone have an idea of how long the waiting list is to get one?
