REQUEST DENIED WITH google geocoding apiv3 version

Hi all
I am doing some stuff with google geocoding map api version 3
here is my code below
$add =>address

       $response
            = $mech->get(
            "http://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/geocode/json?address=$add&sensor=false"
            );
I tried using lot of other approaches i.e component filtering , rigion baising, tried changing sensor parameter(just trial and error)  but did not worked. every time i am getting request denied.
can someone help me ?
