Location: Louisville ,KY

Duration: Long Term Contract

Explanation for Position:
The Quality Assurance Tester is responsible for system and product testing of simple to complex software projects; this position is needed to meet the quality assurance needs of the CLERS Project within Ground Transportation Systems.

Details of Position:
This person must not only possess, but apply fundamental Quality Assurance (QA) testing processes with moderate to minimal guidance. This includes developing test conditions and expected results; executing tests using manual and automated tools; analyzing test results to verify requirements are met; and identifying and documenting defects. In addition, this person must have the ability to provide test activities estimates, capture test metrics, and report test results. This person reports to the QA Lead.

Management Skills:
This person must have good analytical skills and an aptitude for technology. This person will collaborate with peers on a frequent basis, including software developers, user groups, and fellow testers. As a result, working well with others is critical. This person must possess sound logical-thinking skills and the ability to transpose it through excellent verbal and written skills.
