SAP SCM Functional - Chicago, IL - 12+ Months Contract

Techno functional

SAP SME  (80% Functional, 20% Technical)

Project Scope

Move Motorola’s Oracle R12 data into Lenovo’s SAP system.

They’re implementing R12 and then performing a data conversion to SAP.

Duties   

·         Support during project execution    

·         Not user support, project support      

·         Decipher and understand current customizations and determine how those can be transferred to the new system, or recreated 

·         Help guide the data conversion team to best map data into SAP

·         Knowledge transfer with the current employees to help them understand the SAP system   

·         Assist the testing team with performing Unit Testing   

·         May write test cases

·         May perform functional configuration

        Requirements

·         Subject Matter Expert-level functional knowledge in SAP SCM, OM, and Inventory

·         Ability to do configuration analysis and possibly hands-on configuration   

·         Experience converting data to SAP Not developing a data conversion program, but able to articulate the best practices and help map 

·         Strong communication and ability to teach and mentor team members
