Ferry boat line problems

Hi,
I am trying to plot a ferry boat line - but it si more than 5 lilometers long. How do i mark it?
I tried splitting it into two. I could mark the first leg, but cannot mark the second final leg.
Can anyone please help?

Try to use Road Runner Tool, enabled in Lab features.
