How do I create and embed a searchable map with many points?

Hello,

I've been searching the interweb far and wide to figure out how to create and embed a searchable map on my website.
Here's an example... http://www.hookandbullet.com/search-fishing-map/?c=60936
The example is pretty much exactly what I want.  The only difference is that I want to put it on my webpage and with points/data related to my customers.

Any advice at all would be greatly appreciated.

This is the Google Map Maker(GMM) forum, and GMM is not the Google product you are looking for at the moment, since we mainly help mappers editing at mapmaker.google.com ;)
