Hello....

I used to have the Continental Divide on my Google Earth, but I foolishly decided to clean out all of my  GE info hoping that I could re-download it & put them into more organized layers (which I wasn't able to do correctly).  But now I can't find GE's Continental Divide info & am unable to add it back into my Places folder (or whatever it's called...sorry!)!

I have searched & searched the web looking to find "Continental Divide for Google Earth", & have come up empty every time.  If I could do it once, why can't I find the info I need again?  Can anyone help me????

Thank you.

Hello there,

You are posting in the Google Map Maker forum, and unfortunately our expertise is limited to that product.  Sorry for this canned response, but we get many postings a day here for other products.  Let me give you a list of support sites for other map based Google products, please consult the appropriate one for the product you are using.  Each support page has a link in the right hand column for the support forums for that product, but I would suggest that you first search the support pages; as almost every support forum on the internet is comprised of volunteers who are willing to help with the hard or unusual questions; but are not there to look up things for people who don't want to bother (not that I'm necessarily suggesting you are doing that, please remember that this is a canned response).

I hope you find your resolution quickly!

You actually, i think, were using the USGS Shake Map, a KML file produced by the USGS which has the continental shelves shown on it along with locations of the earthquakes and is updated in real time.
