Directions not working on Google Maps Mobile

Dear All,
I was thrilled to see the street maps appearing on Google Maps Mobile
a few weeks ago. However, the directions feature does not work -
resulting in a message of "No route found".
However, while trying Directions on the Google Map Maker desktop web
interface for the same two locations the directions work just fine.
Any update on this?

It would probably help to specify the locations that have the problem.

Directions is not enabled on Mobile Maps for these new updated maps as that's only a partial data update. Directions in Map Maker are for debugging and to make them more accurate by users.

So here we are April 2013 on a Samsung Galaxy III and the directions on the mobile are still not enabled?
Punched in Bradley International Airport to Hilton Garden Inn. Saved it as a location in "My Maps". Pulled "My Maps" up on the mobile and the directions feature does NOT keep the From/To destinations. Are you kidding me?
The whole purpose to save the map and directions were NOT have to retype any info in the phone.
What is the status on this?
