I'm fairly new to map maker and have made several edits that have been approved.  I see that they have taken effect for Google Maps on the web.  But they haven't taken effect for the Google Maps used for iPhone or for Google Earth.  Can someone tell me how long these additional updates usually take?  Also, one of the roads I deleted (and which was approved and removed from Google Maps), is still used for directions.  Kind of weird when directions routes you over a non-existing road!  Does Directions use yet another version of the data?

Thanks,

Mobile Maps will take longer to update. I don't know how often it gets updated, though.

As for directions, they are updated every 1-2 months. My guess is (and it's only a guess) that they will be updated early August.

I made changes in Google Map Maker almost 3 months ago and they are still on Google Earth.  I can understand directions not updating for some time but confused why roads and features wouldn't be updated in Google Earth much sooner. This was the whole reason I started using GMM is because of how much my company & I use Google Earth.

The mobile app takes about 3-4 weeks to update. The time of update seems to depend on your region. I know some edits I made about 3 weeks ago aren't live in my area yet, but I know that we're just about due for the next "tile update" as it's called.

Also, it seems there's no difference in updates between Google Maps 4.x and Google Maps 5.x tiles on Android. Both pull the same data, but render it differently.
