due to nodes limit, sometimes you have yo draw more shapes of the same place, a lake or a national park
thx

There's no way (at least by us) to merge shapes in multiple features into one feature and get around the node limit. Instead, draw a general shape within 300 nodes (the limit). Perhaps Google can make it more detailed.

Overlap the contiguous edges. It's not a true merge, but has the same effect when displayed.

What are you trying to achieve?

Only name one, the other shape(s) can be nameless boundaries.

For very large features you might want to name more than one, just not contiguous polygons.  It just takes some experimentation.  Glaciers and really big lakes are some examples.

Draw the polygon until you reach the node limit, and then use "ADD" to create additional polygons for the same feature you are adding. You only do one set of information, but you can do numerous polygons this way. Ensure you have an overlap as others have mentioned, and it will look like a single lake/park etc. when you are done. http://goo.gl/TfHeJ is a link to the User Guide article about adding multiple shapes to a large river. It's the same as for a lake.
