I really wish Google would cross check business addresses against the UPS Store directory. Denver metro has been flooded with businesses attempting to use UPS Store addresses. It can be quite exhausting at times.

Have you seen any in the wild that are still live? Care to share the locations?

I agree, it would be easy for Google to create alerts for Post Office locations, UPS Stores, etc and flag places for auto removal.

I've cleaned up quite a few. I made my own directory by copying and pasting from the UPS site and just doing searches around those areas. I don't have specific map URLs to include but I can give a list of the locations:

Andrew I also wanted to ask are there still groups of RERs focused on specific areas such as locksmiths or have those projects broken up with then new reorganization?

Thanks for reviewing some of my edits Andrew. Much appreciated.

Also, it seems that Google Bots keep re-adding some of these. Does Rate My Edit help on the bots or can we only mark as spam when we have that option?

Err, the former RER blissfulight still diligently fights locksmith spam, despite somewhat reduced powers.

Also, I remember filing this in the Issue Tracker not too long ago: https://code.google.com/p/google-mapmaker/issues/detail?id=2860

On a related note, I think there's been some work done for FedEx listings if the Google and Your Business forum posts are any indication.

That's someone actually claiming the Fedex stores themselves.

Thanks? No, seriously I appreciate the additional info. I can set up boundaries and monitor those and I guess that will be the best route here on out.

I've asked and asked and asked and asked the spam people, but they seem to be kind of deaf to this idea.

Guess they like putting out fires with a bucket instead of employing a hose.

However, you can create neighborhoods for those specific address areas and annihilate them as they pop up.
