Thanks for the example. I agree that the driving direction suggested
in that link might not be accurate. To prevent those U-turns, you will
need to edit the intersection using 'Edit turn restrictions' option
and click on the 'U' symbol to disable the U-turn for the specified
direction as can be seen in the help page here:

In the case that I had posted earlier, while drawing the roads you can
avoid intersecting the local road with both the sections of the
secondary road. To correct that now, you can delete the following road
section:

However, it does seem to be a nice feature to have the ability to
easily disable the U-turns for a complete road. Can you please add
that to the Issue tracker ?
