While working on something else I realized I'd have to map at least part of the University of South Carolina main campus. I don't know why portions of Henderson St., College St., etc. that have not existed for 10-20 years are still showing on Google Maps. The roads stop on one side of campus (replaced by restricted parking, walkways, etc.) and then resume. How to make these portions  them go away?

USC's own map shows this correctly:

Hi Mara,

For sections that definitely don't exist any longer, you can select the segment by right-clicking nearby on the map surface, click on "Find near this point", then on Edit and select Delete. You'll be prompted for the reason for the deletion: select "Feature does not exist".

For College St I would recommend converting it to a trail so that it can be used in walking/biking directions. To do this, select the segment using the same method as above, but select "Convert to trail" from the Edit dropdown.

Hope that helps. Let us know if you have further questions.

Thanks Andres,
That makes sense (much embarrassment), It really should work. The only problem I have now is that every time I try the fix I get "Road(s) are under review. Please try again later"
Good Grief! (substituted for more explicit wording) That leaves my pedestrian overpass hanging because I haven't snapped it to an imaginary road. Almost the whole block is the lower commons and it's all pedestrian only. Because it's part of a hill, the lower end is grade level but, at Pickens, the commons is a grade above. Actually, the city scraped Pickens lower so the overpass could work.
