This post is a message for the people of Google. The maps of Caracas,
venezuela (a national capital) have serious problems. The satellite
pictures have hundreds of meters differences with the street maps.
Your maps are good but bascally USELESS as a GPS when someone is
looking for a direction in the city.

All those who ant this corrected please write a message or try to make
contact with google.

You're right, most of the maps of the world's capitals have an optimal
resolution in your photos and are fairly current, I join your cause to
Google take into account the needs we have in Caracas.

Tienes razón, la mayoría de los mapas de las capitales del mundo
tienen una optima resolución en sus fotografías y están bastante
actualizados, me uno a tu causa para que Google tome en cuenta las
necesidades que tenemos en caracas.

Yes Google Maps Staff, please, you have no idea how many people have
cell phones right now
with google maps capability down here, but find it useless for gps
tracking or traffic directions because of the
low detail you find in maps of Caracas and other major Venezuelan
cities (both satellite and street maps).
We're not asking for rich street view pictures now, but we need much
more detail added to local street maps
(names of avenues, squares, streets, street corners, etc.). Thanks in
advance for any support you can provide.

Hi,

Can you provide a link to one the pages where you see a misalignment
between the satellite images
and the map data. Or a link to a page where there is bad data.

That will help us pinpoint the exact problem.

Thanks!
Aneesh
