Dear Mappers,

Starting sometime today, people who use the Community edits feature in
Google Maps will get a link to this Map Your World discussion group in
the confirmation window that comes up once they've completed the edit.
Folks using Community edits have the same ultimate goal as Map Maker &
Building Maker users, namely to make the maps of the places they know
and love more detailed, accurate and up-to-date.

Our hope is that bringing Community edits users into this group will
help them to learn about Map Maker and Building Maker as well, and to
encourage more connections between people trying to map their
neighborhoods and regions.
