I made a map using map maker and now I want to blow up the map to poster size (24X36) to have as a visual. I want to zoom in so the map has detail, not just zoom in on a screen shot of the entire map, because it covers a large area. Any suggestions of how to do this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I am not aware of a method, but if you figure it out please don't hesitate to share :-)

The only way I can think of would be very labour intensive.  You could set your computer to a specific zoom level that you are interested in and take a whole pile of screen shots as you pan over your area of interest.  Then you will need to tile them all together in a photo editing software, and take the finished file to a printer to make you a single colour printout.  You'll need a lot of patience.

If you search around you may be able to find some panorama software that will automate the stitching process.
