Hello!  I've noticed some people making edits to newly-drawn features.  Normally I wouldn't have notice at all, but they seem to be making bad edits.  (Check the histories of these segments, as the link-to-page function isn't working.  The named entry in their history is the one I'm referring to.)  They reduce geometric precision (first), provide incorrect lane counts (third), and delete and re-draw segments with more superfluous intersections and incorrect attributes.  Who are these people?  Are they Google Employees?

I'm thinking you are seeing one of Google's many bots making its way through the database.

Those are Google Employees that only make edits and don't make reviews as compared to Google Reviewers.

Yes, the GRs are just a small portion of the staff; they are just whom we deal with the most.

Looking over those edits, I'm not really seeing anything wrong with any of them.

Then maybe I'm wrong.  I thought the second edit in this segment's history is incorrect.  The Maps Editor changed the lane count from 2 to 3.  Should lane counts include turn- and merge-lanes?  The user guide says it only includes through-lanes.

What they seem to be doing isn't redrawing.  I think they can reset a road's attributes to the default for their priority.  But when Regional Highways pass through cities, that leaves the speed limit way too high.
