Hi Mappers,

Firstly, we'd like to thank you for your interest, contributions and encouragement since the launch of the Map Makerpedia. We have come a fairly long way in trying to help out our co-mappers, 

thanks mainly to your efforts! We now have the link to the Map Makerpedia on the Help Center and on Map Maker itself, cool right?

We have been hearing all your valuable feedback and ideas. We have attempted to make it easier for you to contribute. So, here’s whats new:

• You can now edit all existing articles by joining the contributors group (one time effort).
• All changes you make to articles will now get published immediately!
  
• You now have more options to format your pages to make them both easier to understand and more appealing.
• You can create sub-pages to articles now. This will help you create more diverse content like regional guidelines for your location of mapping interest. Like this initiative started for Canada by Craig Hartel.

So, join the contributors group and try contributing on the new Map Makerpedia. Tell us what you think about it, as always we’d be happy to hear your feedback :)

To everyone who's joined the Contributors group, if you are unable to edit articles on the Map Makerpedia its because you are not signed into Google Sites. Click sign in at the bottom left of the page to sign in and then start editing. See image below for more info:

So, once you join this group, you can start editing your article directly from the sites page :)
